The reservoir is located southwest of the built-up area of Moravský Krumlov. The reservoir was considerably muddy, which severely disrupted its water management function - considerably reduced accumulation. The fortification of the dam was also uneven, the drainage equipment in poor condition and overall the reservoir did not meet the basic parameters in accordance with the standards.
In order to restore the basic water management functions and to improve the technical condition of the pond, it was necessary to perform mud removal, new discharge equipment and leveling of the strengthening of the dam and banks with the addition of quarry stone. In April 2021, the pond will be restored to a safe condition. In addition, domestic water supplies will be increased and water supplies will be created in case of fire fighting.
